AMANI PREVENTATIVE MEASURES

Amani is still in operation and we are providing services to our clients remotely or by appointment. Here are a few measures we are taking as an agency to ensure safety not only to our staff, but to the community as well:

  • We are caring for our staff and clients. The Amani office is currently open, though we are only interacting with clients or the public by appointment only. We are also conducting client meetings over the phone or via the Internet when possible.

  • Amani staff members are also required to do the following if they feel ill:

    • Stay home;

    • Inform their supervisor triage to inform their clients and referral sources;

    • Consult with their doctor and bring a note release from their doctor prior to returning to work.

  • Amani will continue to monitor the 2019 novel coronavirus, COVID-19, globally, as well as any impact it may have locally. Amani will continue to look to the CDC and collaborate with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration for guidance or actions, as necessary, to prevent and address this health related issue in our organization.
